Getting Here

Ames, Iowa is the birthplace of Goats On The Go® and the home of Iowa State University, located a short drive north on Interstate 35 from Iowa’s capital, Des Moines.

Flying? We recommend you fly into Des Moines International Airport (DSM) and rent a car for your 45 minute drive to Ames. Direct flights to DSM may be limited, but it is very convenient to fly into and out of.

Getting Around

Des Moines Airport offers several car rental options, and Uber and Lyft are available but somewhat limited.
